Pay Your Bill

Although every physician participates with different insurance plans, it is the goal of this organization to work with patients on all facets of their care, including their billing and insurance information.

Insurance information will be verified before appointments, and insurance claims related to individual doctors’ participation will be submitted for an assignment. We will supply any paperwork necessary to claim reimbursement for services that require direct payment. Coverage of lab work, pathology, and anesthesiology services will vary between insurance companies. As per organizational policy, up-front expenses as a result of co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, etc. will become the sole responsibility of the patient.

South Broward Endoscopy is committed to maintaining your satisfaction with our facility and resolving any concerns you may have.

We understand there are times when you need to speak with someone to understand your bill or discuss additional concerns.  Please contact our Patient Account Resolution team at 800-514-9212 and someone will be available to answer your questions during standard business hours.

If your concerns remain unresolved after speaking with our Patient Account Resolution Team and you wish to file a financial grievance, please click this link and complete the financial grievance form (PDF).

Instructions are included in the form.  Please allow 7 business days from the receipt of this grievance for acknowledgment by the facility leadership team.

For all non-financial and non-billing related grievances, please contact the facility directly.

Collections and Procedures

At South Broward Endoscopy, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care while upholding transparency and fairness in our billing and collection practices. Our Collection Procedures are designed to ensure patients understand their financial responsibilities and have access to support throughout the billing process.

Billing Process:

  • After services are rendered, we will bill your insurance provider (if applicable).
  • You will receive a statement for any remaining balance not covered by insurance.
  • Payment is due upon receipt of the statement unless other arrangements have been made.

Collections Timeline:

  • If payment is not received within 30 days, a reminder notice will be sent.
  • Accounts unpaid after 60 days may be subject to additional follow-up.
  • After 90 days, accounts may be referred to a third-party collection agency unless a payment plan or financial assistance has been arranged.

Avoiding Collections: We encourage patients to contact our billing office at 800-514-9212 as soon as possible if they anticipate difficulty paying their bill. Our team is here to help explore options such as payment plans or financial assistance.

At South Broward Endoscopy, we understand that healthcare costs can be a concern for many patients. To help ease the financial burden, we offer a variety of self-pay discounts for eligible individuals. Charity Care

There is no formal process application process for obtaining Charity Care at South Broward Endoscopy. The Center does offer self-pay and payment plan option that is at a discounted price. See payment plan tab.
