Dr. Migicovsky, a native of Montreal, Canada, is a graduate of the University of Montreal. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital and his GI fellowship at the University of Southern California. Dr Migicovsky has been practicing gastroenterology since 1990.

Besides standard colonoscopy and upper endoscopy GI procedures, Dr Migicovsky specializes in the more aggressive therapeutic procedures such as radiofrequency ablation, spiral enteroscopy, endomucosl resection and endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP). Dr. Migicovsky is an expert in capsule endoscopy procedures using the Given Imaging PillCam. He has performed and interpreted hundreds of small bowel capsule procedures and is now performing ESO or esophageal PillCam procedures as well.

Among his interest include chronic liver disease such as Hepatitis C & B, reflux disease and Barrett’s Esophagus.

He has served as Chief of Gastroenterology in the past at both Hollywood Medical Center and Memorial Hospital Pembroke.Dr. Migicovsky serves as Associate Medical Director of South Broward Endoscopy, the endoscopic ambulatory surgery center affiliated with the practice.
